Immutable zkEVM Testnet Launch
The Immutable zkEVM Testnet, featuring all of Immutable’s platform products, went live earlier this month!
This monumental achievement is a culmination of the months of hard work from both the Immutable and Polygon Labs team. In a broader sense, the Immutable zkEVM Testnet launch represents a significant milestone for the web3 industry.

Immutable Passport: Redefining Player Acquisition
When we announced Immutable Passport earlier this year, one of the core beliefs we expressed as a major barrier to mainstream adoption of web3 gaming was user experience. Most mainstream gamers barely understand the intricate workings of web3 wallets. Even web3 native players face friction by maintaining multiple wallets, some of which are created without them even knowing.
Earlier this month, we released a case study with 7,000 gamers to test our hypothesis, and the results are in. When we presented two groups with either an Immutable Passport sign-up flow, versus a traditional email and wallet creation sign-up flow, players were twice as likely to convert.
This is a huge validation step in solving for the mainstream user experience, and we can’t wait for the future of Passport as the key to unlocking the massive scale for billions of players across the world.
1.7 million active gamer wallets…so far
The Immutable growth flywheel is integral to our strategy to bring web3 gaming to the world. A core component of this flywheel is building the strongest network effects of players and games in the world.
We are incredibly proud to share that Immutable has hit 1.7 million active gamer wallets. We wanted to take a step back and say congratulations to all the gamers, builders, and believers in the Immutable Community!
This is huge, but the work is far from done. Immutable's collective mission is to bring true digital ownership for all players. For the Immutable Community to become the biggest in web3 gaming, developing the strongest network effects will be crucial as every new developer and gamer adds exponential value to the Immutable ecosystem.
